August 5, August 24 and September 14 are published under the Jinfeng Huajuan edition. Its Ili to Kuqa Route B lists Tianshan Flower Sea and Nalati.
The edition is part of the route decision, not merely a color theme. Confirm that the named Route B destinations match the departure you want.
May and June: Early Season and Spring-to-Summer Change
The Xinjiang culture and tourism authority has historically highlighted May for Tianchi and June for Ili lavender. For Baiyun Express, the May 18, June 7 and June 27 dates may appeal to travelers who prioritize the earlier part of the touring season.
Mountain and seasonal-road conditions can still be variable. If the Duku or Yizhao Highway is central to your decision, ask how an operational alternative would affect your selected route.
July: Summer Grasslands and Long Days
Official regional travel guidance identifies July and August with broad grassland scenery, while Xinjiang's long summer daylight supports full destination days. The July 17 departure can suit travelers whose priorities include summer landscapes and the high touring season.
High season can also mean stronger demand, warmer conditions in some basins and busy scenic areas. Pack sun protection and layers, and do not assume that a mountain lake and a southern oasis will share the same temperature.
August and September: Late Summer to Early Autumn
The August 5, August 24 and September 14 departures use the Jinfeng Huajuan edition. Late August and September may appeal to travelers seeking the transition toward autumn, but timing and intensity of seasonal color vary by location and year.
The regional tourism authority associates September and October with Kanas autumn scenery. The September 14 departure may reach northern areas during a seasonal transition, but no article or booking message should be treated as a guarantee of foliage, flowers or snow conditions.
Temperature, Sun, Wind and Altitude
Xinjiang has a temperate continental arid climate, but elevation and geography create substantial local variation. Plan for strong sun, dry air, wind and changing day-to-night temperatures. The Pamir section adds altitude considerations that are separate from the departure month.
